safeguard your information when you use the ChirpReel mobile
application, related services and the marketing website (collectively,
the “Service”). We respect your privacy and commit to minimal data
collection required to deliver core functionality.
1. Data We Collect

Account Data: Email / Apple ID derived identifier,
display name, region (coarse), VIP status & subscription metadata.

Usage Metrics: Anonymous event counts (play, pause,
like, favorite add) and viewed item count for gating logic. We do
not store exact playback timelines per user.

Device Data: App version, OS, model family for
debugging & performance optimization. No precise location, contacts,
microphone or photo library access.

Cached Media: Bird audio/image/video locally cached
on device for performance; we do not exfiltrate personal files.

Payment / IAP: Apple / Play Store receipt tokens
processed server‑side only to validate subscription; we never store
full payment credentials.
2. How We Use Data
- Authenticate and maintain user sessions.

Enforce non‑VIP browsing limits and determine VIP entitlement.
- Improve stability, caching efficiency and audio performance.

Detect fraud or abuse related to subscription misuse or scraping.
- Respond to lawful requests where legally required.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Limited sharing occurs only with:
- Platform stores (Apple / Google) for subscription validation.

Error monitoring / analytics (aggregate, non-identifying where
possible).
- Law enforcement if legally compelled.
4. Data Retention
Account + subscription records retained while your account exists. You
may request deletion; VIP expiry auto‑downgrades without deletion.
5. Your Rights
- Request a copy or deletion of your account data.
- Opt‑out of non-essential analytics (currently minimal).
- Revoke subscription via app store settings.
6. Child Privacy
Service not directed to children under 13. If we learn we hold data
from a child under applicable age thresholds, we will delete promptly.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed on servers located in regions different from
your own. We apply reasonable safeguards consistent with this Policy.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), scoped access keys, principle of
least privilege, and periodic key rotation. No system is 100% secure;
report issues to [email protected].
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be highlighted in-app
or on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
